Display Init...

Tonight I had a nice surprise... from the log I saw that everything stopped at 6AM, I went up to check and I found the FLEP stuck with the "Display init..." message.
I will try the procedure of the reset (I'm not happy at all to have to reconfigure it!! I don't have all the data!!), but... how the hell is possible that it got stuck in the middle of the night?

On my windows the "copy" to COM port is not working. Can I use hyperterminal and send the text file?
Moreover, can I use the serial cable instead of the USB cable? The USB link never worked with my LFEP...

I'm quite angry, this device does not have even the basic reliability needed to be used as a remote controller, I'm really thinking to get rid of it...  Four nights working, two fine, one almost damaging the telescope and one ended out of order, this is not acceptable.

It seems that it was a problem of low voltage on the battery.
I have to check, but connecting it again this afternoon (I tried a bunch of times this morning, but always on the same battery) it turned on correctly.
