Server was not availible
« on: Monday, 08.07.13 - 19:03:28 - CEST »
Dear visitors,
I was abroad for some weeks. Infortunately my Webhoster shut down the IP-Adress of my Webserver while I was away. Sorry for the trouble.  :-[
Now everything should work as expected.  ;)

Liebe Besucher,
Ich war für einige Wochen im Ausland. Leider hat mein Webhoster während meiner Abwesenheit die IP-Adresse meines Servers abgeschaltet. Ich bitte die Unannehmlichkeiten zu entschuldigen.  :-[
Nun sollte wieder alles laufen wie erwartet. ;)

Again sorry for the trouble. I was not able to work on the server while abroad.
Since IP-V4 adresses are getting rare, my Hoster changed it's IP range. The server is a linux-vserver where I can only change /etc/hosts and all the super user confiuration stuff incl. apache etc. But to change the interface eth:0 to the new IP adress I can not change without the remote-hands from the Hoster. This took me a couple of emails confusing me with improper understanding about the server configuration. Last but not least everything seems to work now. In the next days there will be another downtime because I will upgrade the linux distribution. I will post the maintainance on time.
