Hi Isi,

if you install the latest release over the old 1.5.2 one (without uninstalling the old one) you'll see the help is still available...
I removed the help file since it should be modified to properly describe the new driver.

Anyway I think the GUI is pretty user friendly...
Fan On/Off is used to power On/Off a fan (if you have a fan on your scope properly connected to LFEP)...
Alt. Park is a button that allows you to park your mount at an alternative parking position. You've obviously to set your alternative parking position before beeing able to park there.
All the mount configuration commands are available by a click on telescope setup. There you'll find all the settings properly grouped.
The only thing to take care of before sending any GoTo command is PierSide. If you see that the scope moves wrongly then you're probably using the wrong side of pier (and a click on Invert Dec will fix the issue so that the scope will move as expected...).

I don't speak German but, in case of need, I'm sure you'll obtain useful answers also by someone else in German.

wie Armando sagt glaube ich hast du ein Problem mit deiner Pierside,... RA und DEC fahren dann nacheinander wenn dein Teleskop in einer gefährlichen Stellung ist (OTA zeigt nach unten, RA unter dem Horizont). Dann bringt der Driver dein Teleskop zuerst einmal wieder über den Horizont und dann bewegt er den OTA, da dann normal sichergestellt ist, dass du nicht gegen den Pier knallst. Auch wenn dein GoTo läuft kann da etwas verstellt sein - es wäre auch denkbar, dass dein Motor auf Reverse gestellt werden muss oder Normal, prüfe es hier nochmals hier die Pierside - die Grafik ist recht gut:

Wenn er gegen den Pier rennt wäre interessant von welcher Position du kommst oder wohin du gehst um zu checken ob der Driver einen Bug hat,...

AltPark ist eine alternative Parking Position, du kannst also nun 2 Parking Positions festlegen und verwenden. Ich verwende die zweite Parking Position zB um das Scope in eine Position zu bringen wo ich mein Equipment anschraube. Es wäre aber auch denkbar dies für eine fix montierte Flat Field Folie zu verwenden.

Fan on/off ist mit dem EXT Port Fan Steurungspin gekoppelt, du kannst damit quasi deine FAN aus und einschalten. Aber Achtung das ist ein Pull Up dh, du musst eine Transistorschaltung oder eine Relaisschaltung davor hängen. Einfach die FAN anhängen geht nicht. Denkbar wäre auch, dass du etwas völlig anderes damit schaltest,...

Help File wurde gelöscht da nicht aktuell,... hat sich ja viel geändert, du kannst es aber auch unter www.lfep.de abrufen.

Vielen Dank für eure Tipps, ich habe jetzt wieder 1.5.2 aufgespielt und werde erst einmal dabei bleiben. Da mir sonst die Montierung an die Säule fahren würde. Bei dem neuen Driver musste ich auch, wie bei den anderen Drivern auch die Tastenkombination wieder benutzen da sonst die Guidersingnale nicht ankommen. cs Isi

ok, ja bleibe mal bei 1.5.2, ab nächster Woche kann ich wieder testen, dann werden wir den neuen Driver genauer unter die Lupe nehmen,... viel Unterschied ist da nicht, außer die Logik der Scopebewegung.

I think you're using a wrong side of pier and/or a wrong Dec motor rotation setting.
