Polar Alignment

Hello Community,

since some weeks I´m a proud owner of al LFEP and I´m still learning to use all the features built in this controller. But now I stuck at the "Polar Align" as discribed in the online-manual (www.lfep.de). It should be found in the GOTO-Submenu, right after "Home Pos." But there ´s nothing to find. My controller runs FW 6.20

Can anyone tell me the way to this function?

Hi Stefan,

because polar alignment did not work as expected, rajiva disabled this feature to review it.

bevor  or after the new firmware ? , or on the other hand -
it there  a useable polaralignement part of the last and new firmware 6.30 xx ?
Next question : Which are the differences between theese both firmwareupdates ( 6.20 - 6.30 xx )

Hi Rainer,

I'm not sure by which relase it was disabled but it was already disabled with FW 6.20.
There is no changelog, so I can only refer to rajivas post in the "old" Forum.

Hello Roman, thanks for your  answer, under 6.30 to 😳, so i will use over
Win 7 pro and Alignmaster and ascom 1.5.3 beta instead polaralign from LFEF .

you can also try EQAlign, it also works with ASCOM.

Hello Roman ,
Thank you i will compare  Eqinox pro , The Sky X pro, Skysafari pro under Mac OS X 10.8.3
Alignmaster under Win 7 ( over MacOS and Parallels ) on the same desktop in combination
with AstroPhotographyTool  and the ascomdriver1.5.3 Beta
